I just want to say a massive thank you on behalf of both David and I for all of your help and coordination on our wedding day last Saturday. We had a fabulous day and enjoyed every second, and we loved the way you discretely videoed all of the magic moments. We really can’t thank you enough for coming to our Trinity College Wedding (and obviously the brilliant wedding video!) We absolutely LOVE it!

Katie – Oxford

Meet the couple
Katie Mathias and David Baker

Why do you want to capture your Trinity college Wedding?
We would love to capture the magic moments and look back at all of our fabulous memories! We would also like to capture parts of the day that we might miss, such as the wedding guests enjoying the reception drinks and (hopefully!) having a great time!

Why did you choose me as your photographer / videographer?
You were recommended to us by a friend. On review of your website, we were really impressed with your work and didn’t hesitate to get in touch!

Is there a favourite film of yours on my web site? I’d really love to know which one and why.
Dave and I don’t specifically have a favourite – we are honestly impressed with all of your photographs and videos. We love the way you capture the moments and also the atmosphere with your choice of music and the lighting used, and the amount of detail that you include is impressive, adding to the overall story!

You guys… What do you do for a living? How do you spend your days when you’re not planning your Trinity College Wedding? What’s important in life?
I am a Senior Consultant and David is an Actuary. We both live busy lives during the week and enjoy spending time with family and friends at the weekends. I am from a big family (I have 6 siblings!) so the both of us are used to the noise, chaos and laughter that this brings! I enjoy horse riding and David loves football. Health, happiness and enjoying life with those closest to us is most important!

Was there a proposal? Tell me all the details.
David surprised me (which is a surprise in itself) when we were on holiday in Cornwall, Porthleven. We went on an 8 mile walk along the cliff tops in Cornwall – the weather was fabulous – and as we were approaching the harbour on our return home, he pulled me aside off the path and revealed a ring and bottle of champagne! He said some romantic things and then popped the question :) It was amazing – and in one of my favourite places in the world! Needless to say, there was a lot of alcohol flowing for the rest of the holiday!

The venue. Why did you choose a Trinity College Wedding above anywhere else?
David completed his PhD (in Chemistry) at Trinity College. I moved down to Oxford after graduating and we spent an amazing 4 years living there. We are in love with the city – it is truly beautiful – and we are so lucky to be able to get married in such a fabulous venue which holds great memories for us.

What experience do you want to give your guests?
The best! :D We want our guests to feel relaxed and to have fun. Lots of laughter and great memories!
