Cap Rocat Wedding Video Mallorca
Why did you want a film of your Cap Rocat Wedding in Mallorca?
We wanted to capture the story of our Cap Rocat wedding in motion and to music. Film is the most emotive media and we felt that it was the best way for us to be transported right back to those amazing days in Mallorca. We wanted all the little moments to be captured, and especially the ones we weren’t aware of on the day. We also didn’t want to lose the clarity between all the different moments as time often tends to merge them into one big happy feeling.
Why did you choose us to create your Cap Rocat Wedding Video?
Adam Alex recommended three very different but incredible wedding videographers and we were immediately drawn to your style. We think it has empathy and beauty, and your overall finish is understated – a perfect fit with us.
How did you meet?
We met at work – an unexpected spark between an unlikely couple that turned into a perfect fit.
Tell me about the proposal?
Allister proposed on New Years Eve in Cape Town, where we were both born and raised. We were at the harbour on the balcony of a friend’s restaurant overlooking the fireworks display on the water just before midnight. We kissed each other as the clock struck the hour and he looked at me afterwards and popped the question!
Why did you choose a Cap Rocat Wedding?
We knew that we wanted to get married in Spain – it’s our happy place – and when we saw Cap Rocat, we fell in love with it!
What experience do you want to give your guests at Cap Rocat?
80 people were going to be travelling to Mallorca from near and far, for our Cap Rocat Wedding. We were so touched and we wanted to spoil them when they got there. We tried to think of everything so that our guests didn’t have to think about a thing. What we wanted was for our family and friends to soak up the Spanish sunshine, feel the tranquility of the surroundings, bask in the joy of the occasion, savour every mouthful of the lovingly chosen food and wine, enjoy each new person they meet and enjoy creating connection (there is something fabulous about every person that will be there!), and last but not least, that they let their hair down and have a ball!
