Weddings in London – Blenheim Palace Wedding Video

So here we are. 12 long months have passed since I was lucky enough to play a part in this truly incredible event. Weddings like this don’t happen every day. In fact wedding’s like this don’t happen at all on an annual basis – this was a once in a lifetime wedding. Trust me.

A Luxurious Blenheim Palace Wedding Video

It’s easy to talk about the visuals of this luxury UK wedding here. Wall to wall orchids, celebrity florists, Rockstar performances, beauty at every turn, but what still strikes home with me, over a year later is the people who made this wedding. From my first long conversation with Flo before the event, we chatted about our mutual love of film and I instantly felt relaxed about the entire thing.

It’s often the case with huge weddings like this that you enter and leave, without being nothing more than ‘hired help’. That’s fine if it’s what’s required but things were definitely different here. I love connections with my wedding couple’s and for that matter, their close circle of family and friends – It doesn’t matter who they are or where in the world they’re from. The role of a wedding videographer or wedding photographer almost becomes secondary.

“One of the most luxurious weddings in history”

Producing a beautiful cinematic wedding video is second nature, it is what we do at the end of the day. Our roles however often go so much beyond the camera. We provide a service that can only exist by establishing a connection with the people around us. A service that generally only comes when you’ve experienced hundreds of previous weddings.

We become wedding planners, advisors, confidants, shoulders to cry on. This was without question the case here and was what helped to move such an incredible event forward without hiccup. From bridal preparations in the morning when myself and Ross the wedding photographer did our best to offer calmly advice for the day ahead, to the wedding ceremony where we told Flo everything he needed to know about how things would pan out.

It’s easy to be taken in by jaw dropping luxury, but most of the time if you scratch beyond the surface, it’s the people that really Rock!
