Helen + Steven \\ Hillbark Hotel Cheshire Wedding Video

Helen and Steve called me only a few months ago to discuss their wedding videography requirements. As Helen told me that she had cried like a baby watching my other wedding films, this now became my main aim when making their trailer. I think I may have succeeded.

I arrived really early at the Hillbark Hotel (just a few minutes before Helen even got there) so I had loads of time to get some stunning footage of the grounds and even more footage of the preparations. It was a pleasure to work with Helen and Steve, and the fact that they were so relaxed meant that I could be just that little bit more creative when lining up shots for their wedding video. As a wedding cinematographer it makes a world of difference to have both a relaxed couple plus the time and space to focus on your work.

Helen and Steve had actually booked a combined wedding videography and photography package with me. We agreed that once the ceremony had ended, I could switch into wedding photographer mode up until the start of their meal. The plan worked a treat and we managed to get some great reportage shots as well as some formals and the all important large group shot. Combined with the still photographs that we took from the actual wedding video the couple got a great mix of both film and photographs all in the same package.

The day was amazing and I can’t thank Helen and Steve (and the staff at the Hillbark Hotel) enough for looking after me!!
